Alien Bees.
The Alien Bees are human-sized flying insects that appeared in Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus.
This alien species resemble honey bees on Earth, except they don't have five eyes and instead have two Irken-like ones. They seem to live in hives in a moon-sized planet and are able to fly like all other bees seen in the show, with the exception that they only have two wings instead of four.
One of these alien bees briefly assisted Dib in the climactic chase scene with Zim, allowing Dib to ride it in order to fly after Zim. It's unknown what happened to them after Earth was put back in its rightful place in the universe by Professor Membrane, but they were presumably destroyed by the Florpus Hole.
Facts of Doom[]
- The Alien Bees are the only other alien species in the franchise aside from the Gellaxis Guards to speak in their own languague rather than English. This is interesting, as bees are known to communicate by dancing.
- It is believed that because Dib was bitten by a vampire bee, he is able to communicate with bees, which would explain how he was able to fly one.
- Presumably like bees on Earth, the alien bees do have a queen, but it wasn't shown in the Netflix film.
