Fat Boy Ice Cream is a brand of frozen treat found on Earth. It first appears in Issue 31 of the Invader Zim comic series.
Summary[]
Apparently a large franchise, Fat Boy at some point in the past created a new flavor of ice cream, Green Apple Gamma, which is apple-flavored and mixed with gamma radiation. It seems this was not well received, because of its unappealing taste, the fact the ice cream had a tendency to merge with surrounding ice creams, and because of its mutative properties.
Because of all this, Fat Boy couldn't sell the Green Apple Gamma, until a district manager started selling it to buyers with lower standards, including a traveling carnival.
The carnival was eventually abandoned in the woods outside The City, and at some point animals started eating the Green Apple Gamma left behind, causing them to undergo bizarre mutations.
Dib Membrane eventually stumbled upon one of these animals - a grackle which had been given a round body and a third leg - and followed it back to the carnival. After narrowly surviving an attack by a heavily mutated super bear, Dib was confronted by a Fat Boy hazmat team, which arrived at the carnival and started rounding up all the animals.
The leader of the team then explained to Dib that they had been searching for the carnival for a long time in order to recover the Green Apple Gamma and destroy it, thereby removing any evidence that could be used against the company in a class action lawsuit by several ice cream shops.
After explaining all this, the leader then forces Dib to go through decontamination (being cleaned with boiling water and shaved) due to his close proximity to the irradiated ice cream, and then sends him home.
