"Globified" GIR is GIR but under the control of the orange goo. He is the boss of Zim's level in SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom.

Appearance[]

Globified GIR looks like GIR in duty mode, with a large glob of orange goo on his head, topped with a note-shaped Morphoid head. He is also connected to a pod via orange goo, which in turn is connected to roughly a dozen pipes and wires connected to the side walls and top of the house.

Story[]

When we first see GIR in the game, he is playing with a taco filled with batteries. When Zim orders him to put it down, he obeys, but is hit by a large amount of orange goo before Zim can take the taco. He then enters duty mode with the orange goo glob and Morphoid head on his head. He then runs off.

Later, after infiltrating Zim's Base, GIR will now be connected to his pod and wires, and will fight you. He is guarding the taco he ran away with.

After defeating him, he will fall to the ground, and then appear out of duty mode and without the goo on his head, and will say "I love this show."

Strategy[]

Globified GIR's fight is fairly easy, as it is only the 2nd boss fight in the game. It is mainly based on avoiding obstacles, but be weary of the Morphoids he will send to fight you. It should also be noted that after a certain amount of damage done to him he will through you out of the base, forcing you to go through the Lawn Gnome laser gauntlet again.

He has a few attacks:

  1. Morphoid summoning, easy to counter by simply fighting them.
  2. Globified GIR will forcibly shove the wires attached to the side walls into the ground, sending a line of clawed pipes to burst out of the ground, they track your movement, but are slow, so by staying quick, you will be safe. Once he finishes this attack, you can hit him.
  3. Globified GIR will grab and throw you out of the house, and you must re-infiltrate the house.

Facts of Doom[]

  • This is the second time GIR has gone rogue and fought against Zim, the first being in episode "GIR Goes Crazy and Stuff" and the third being in Issue 22. Albeit this time the betrayal was involuntary on GIR's end.
