Horrible Holiday Cheer, released on October 12, 2004, is the third volume in Media Blasters' Invader ZIM DVD collection.[1] The first six episodes of season 2 made their United States debuts through this volume.
Both discs feature a choice between English and Spanish audio. All of the episodes have commentaries, and most of them have animatics. All of them except the interview have Irken subtitles.

- On the second disc on the house set, "The Most Horrible X-Mas Ever" Part 1 is listed twice.
- The song that plays on the main menu is In the Beginning, the first song that plays in the episode "The Nightmare Begins".
- The song that plays on the scene access menu is Reveal Da Dog, the song that plays in "Door to Door" when Zim uses the Virtual Reality Helmets to make the people buy his candy. This music was previously heard on Progressive Stupidity.
- On the original release of this DVD, the televised cut of "The Most Horrible X-mas Ever" was used. The later reissue of this DVD (included as part of The Complete Invasion box set) used the uncut version of the episode.
