Invader Grapa

Invader Grapa is a tall Irken Invader. He was seen in "Battle of the Planets". It is unknown what enemy planet he was assigned to originally.

Grapa was seen among the Planetary Conversion Team at Planet Blorch, and was randomly chosen by Almighty Tallest Purple to replace Invader Skoodge, after he and Almighty Tallest Red had launched Skoodge into space for being “too ugly and short”, refusing to give Skoodge due credit.

Grapa is seen with no PAK, which is likely due to an error in the animation, considering Irkens cannot live for more than ten minutes without their cybernetic PAK devices. Alternatively, he may have found a way to secretly remove the metal shell whilst keeping its life-support components.

Facts of Doom

• He is seen among Irkens gathered to watch the organic sweep of Blorch, despite Blorch being the first planet to successfully be invaded, meaning that Grapa had not yet finished his own assignment.
• Oddly, despite the fact that Grapa was the one given the credit for Skoodge's conquest of Blorch, Issue 18 of the comic series has the Tallest refer to Invader Larb as "Slaughterer of the Slaughtering Rat People", implying that in the comic’s alternative continuity, he is the one taking credit for that conquest.
  • This could also be simply an error due to the comic series being an alternate continuation with many contrasts compared to the TV series.
  • It’s also possible that it’s not exactly an error in continuity but the disregard that the Tallest have towards their own people by simply saying whatever comes to mind, knowing no one would ever try to correct them.
