Ixane is a member of the Resisty. This alien wears a cloak over her face, so it is unknown what she and the rest of her species look like.
Ixane never says a word while on the Resisty's Ship, and makes her only appearance in "Backseat Drivers From Beyond the Stars" and "The Frycook What Came From All That Space".
Facts of Doom[]
- Ixane's appearance may be a reference to the Jawas in Star Wars as it looks similar to them but with a cloak of different coloration (the Jawas' hoods are a rustic brown while Ixane's and those of her people are purple).
- Ixane and the vomiting blob are the only Resisty aliens who are clearly female.
- It is a common misconception amongst Invader Zim fans that the hooded alien's name is officially Ixane. While it is true that the character has adopted that name in the fandom, they have never been referred to as Ixane in any official Invader Zim media - this character has only ever been referred to as RESISTY ALIEN 5 in the art book. In reality, this name originates from a fanfiction written in 2006 called Resisting Authority, as outlined by the original author in this Tumblr post.
