Mark Tortorici was the original composer of the main theme of Invader Zim. Tortorici was the composer for the original Pilot, but Jhonen Vasquez and the crew felt him laughably unfitting for the tone of the series, and was replaced by Kevin Manthei as main composer. Though they liked the main theme he composed enough to use it and said the critisim was not mean spirited.
