Planet Jacker Tug Ships are large, presumably Planet Jacker-designed spaceships that are used by the Planet Jackers to pull captured planets across the galaxy and into their home system. They are only seen in the episode "Planet Jackers".
Appearance[]
The tugs are large, almost the size of a Viral Tank, dwarfing Zim's Voot Runner. The ships look similiar to fish, sporting 8 green engines that are covered by "fins". The ship also has two large OMS thrusters on the nose of the craft, presumably to help steer the planets in tow. These can be rotated and aimed freely. Similiarly to Irken vessels, the ship has a central cylinder and an insect-like shell. However, it has a unique color scheme.
It is assumed that despite their size the ships must be immensely powerful, as they can pull a planet and its moon(s) quite easily, and with great speed, all the way to their home system in one trip. It can also be assumed however, that the planetary shell also assists in some way.
The interior appears to be rather small, only sporting 2 seats in the cockpit, and a small room with an elevator for exiting the ship. The ship also has a monitor acting as a mirror, which Nik uses to see Zim on the cable for the Planetary Shell.
History[]
A Jacker Tug did succesfully steal the Earth and subsequently, its moon during Zim's mission. Even Zim did not realize the Earth had been stolen until he crashed his ship into the planetary holographic shell. Flying out of the shell and meeting the Tug head-on, Zim unsuccesfully tried to convince the Jackers to return the Earth to him to invade, and was promptly blown away by the ship's OMS thruster. After Zim repeatedly annoyed the pilots, Oog-oh exited the ship to fight Zim. Later, Zim returned again to distract Ooh-oh, who exited to fight Zim once more. However, Zim was able to cut open the planetary shell and free the Earth from the Planet Jackers, who continued to fly to their home system, believing they still had the Earth in tow.
Armament[]
The Tug has no visible armament.
