Rarl Kove is an advisor to the two Irken leaders, Almighty Tallest Red and Purple.

Appearance

Rarl has green eyes, and wears a purple long-sleeved robe with large cuffs and a collar.

He appears to have his PAK on his chest with only two spots, while all other Irkens have their PAK on their back with three spots, this may or may not be a common thing for advisors.

Role in Invader Zim

He made his first and only brief appearance in the episode "Battle of the Planets", and had only one line. It's a bit uncertain what he said, as he was whispering to the Almighty Tallest at the time but from the revelation that Skoodge was the one who conquered Blorch, it was evident that he was informing the Tallest who was the Invader responsible for the first planet conquered during Operation Impending Doom II.

Facts of Doom.

• Despite technically speaking briefly even if mumbling, Rarl Kove’s voice actor is unknown.
  • On that note it’s unclear what he said to Tallest Red, however some fans claim that it sounded like, "It is Invader Skoodge, sir."
• He is the only Advisor to appear in the series or comics.
• Unlike most Irkens, for unknown reasons, he doesn't wear gloves.
• Rarl Kove is the only known Irken whose name is two words, which seems not to be common for the species.
• His name is an obvious reference to Karl Rove, former Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to former President George W. Bush.
  • Along with President Man, Rarl Kove is the second character in the series to reference George Bush. Bush was POTUS when Invader Zim was in production and on the air.
• Rarl Kove is of above average height for an Irken, and it’s implied that’s the sole reason for having the presumably prestigious position of being the advisor to the Tallest.
• He is one of the few Irkens to have green eyes.
• He’s the only Irken who appears to have his PAK on his chest while all others have their PAK on their back .
  • However in Issue 46 of the Invader Zim comics, it was shown that accidental re-installation of PAKS is not uncommon as in another timeline, Zim 1910 had his PAK put on his face instead of his back erroneously after an upgrade, so it’s plausible that Rarl Kove originally had his PAK on his back but placed on his chest after an upgrade by mistake.
