The Skinbagsi are an alien race from Planet Skinbaiszus that first appear in Issue 35 of the Invader Zim comic series.

The Skinbagsi are a race of aliens known for constantly shedding their skin, which they do "every six timethings". Skinbagsi prisoners kept in Moo-Ping 10 are housed separately from other prisoners because the Gellaxis guards find their shed skins to be disgusting due to their wad-like shape. In fact, even the Skinbagsi think their shed skin is gross.
The skin shed off of a Skinbagsi is quite durable, capable of withstanding the vacuum of space for a short period of time. Zim and Zorphic (better known as Madness the Chihuahua) were originally going to enters the Suitie Blockie in order to steal some vacuum suits to survive in space.
However, Zim sabatoged this plan due to his desire to prove himself smarter than Zorphic, and they accidentally ended up in the block that housed the Skinbagsi instead. Being resourceful, the two used the shed skins instead of suits, allowing them to complete their way to the hanger bay and escape.
Trivia[]
- The name of the species seems to be a pun on "skin" and "bag", an accurate description of what they're known for.
- The Skinbagsi shed their skin similar to snakes on Earth.
- Unlike all the other prisoners on Moo-Ping 10, the Skinbagsi don't wear the prison uniform, this is most likely because of constantly shedding their skins.
- Despite Moo-Ping 10 making an appearance in Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, the Skinbagsi are not seen in the movie.
