Is Ixane even canon? I can't find any reference to suggest that this is anything more than a fanmade name of an undescribed canon alien. Soapy Waffles (talk) 23:03, December 11, 2014 (UTC)
Ixane is in fact NOT her canon name. It was given by a fan in her very popular fanfiction "Resisting Authority" and then a bunch of fans mistook the name for canon, and continued using it for years. Honestly, though, seeing how many writers like to make fanon names canon (such is the case with Hector Barbossa from PotC) it wouldn't surprise me if it did become canon.
