Shelly, better known as The Wise Old Crab, is a major character in the video games Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island and SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom. He acts as the mentor for the Nicktoons heroes through the games. He is presumed to be the leader of the crabs.

The Wise Old Crab is a crab who is old, as considered by his name. He has a face shaped like an ape and a white beard. His claws are red and similar to Mr. Krabs'. He is considered to be intelligent and helpful in the game. He is also a mentor and leader where he helps other characters in the game.

The Wise Old Crab returns as the mentor of the Nicktoons heroes and the villains. He has made a giant lab from, what once was, Mawgu's lair. He takes care of the people who the team had saved from the goo in the worlds and gives tips to the team during their adventure.
