Name | Zim's Space Station |
Known Residents | Zim |
First Appearance | The Wettening |
Zim's Space Station is in orbit around Earth, and was featured in the episodes "Bloaty's Pizza Hog", "The Wettening", and "Future Dib". Zim uses it as a prison, refuge, and general extension of his base.
Layout
The station is roughly shaped like a crescent, with a claw-like extension in its middle, with a spherical section in turn in its center, with the Invader symbol on its front.
It has a grey and purple color scheme on its exterior. The inside color scheme, by contrast, is more mixed, with red-gray for the control room, and gray and black for the rest of the station.
The station can be accessed by both spaceship and teleporter, and has at least two escape pods.
From the station, Zim is able to remotely control various pieces of his technology, like the Dib Robot-Spy or his Orbital Water Balloon.
Facts of Doom
- In "Bloaty's Pizza Hog", Gaz looks out the window and sees Earth. She dismisses it, but when she passes by another window, four objects can be seen: Earth, the Moon, and two other moons that don't exist anywhere near Earth in reality.
- Although it closely orbits Earth, the station is totally ignored by the people of Earth, which would imply that Zim has it cloaked somehow... or that the planet's inhabitants are simply oblivious as usual.
- In "Future Dib", Zim hides aboard the station in order to survive the pending destruction of Earth by the overloading Perpetual Energy Generator. Presumably, he planned on doing the same in "The Girl Who Cried Gnome" when the Earth was about to be shaken apart, as he was shown preparing to evacuate the planet.
- It's unknown where the station came from, but presumably Zim built it from scratch like his base upon arriving on Earth.
